The Bed Slats Co. hope that our customers are keeping safe during what has become an extremely difficult time as the UK tries to tackle the Coronavirus.
We just wanted to let you know we are still here processing orders and helping our customers every day. We are trying hard to process orders as fast as we can and maintaining our service levels. We are working with Royal Mail and Parcelforce to ensure deliveries are arriving on time.
The wellbeing of our team and our customers is extremely important and we are taking the necessary precautions including contact free deliveries.
We would like to reassure you that we are still operating as a business, and that you can continue to purchase products as normal.
Delivery
Our aim is to offer you the fastest delivery possible. As soon as an order is placed it goes straight into our warehouse and is then prepared to ship. The majority of orders are shipped on the same working day. If you need a guaranteed fast delivery please call us and we will do our utmost to fulfil your requirements.
We ship hundreds of orders on a daily basis to customers across the UK and beyond, we fully understand a fast and efficient delivery service is of utmost importance.
Slat Holders, Components and Accessories
These products are usually small items and are shipped by standard Royal Mail delivery on a 1st Class Delivery service, usually delivered on a next working day service.
Bed Slats & Large Accessories
These products will be shipped by our chosen courier Parcelforce or Fedex.
Please note there will be a surcharge of £10.00 for deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands,Channel Islands and Isle of Man (option will be available upon checkout).
You will receive an email on the day your order is shipped with an estimated date for delivery and an order tracking number; this will enable you to track the order on the Parcelforce tracking system on the day of delivery.
For all larger packages a member of our dispatch team will call to book in a suitable day for delivery.
Free Delivery on all Orders
We now offer Free Delivery on all orders. The delivery must be to a Mainland UK address. Please note there will be a surcharge of £10.00 for deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands and Isle of Man (option will be available upon checkout).
Delivery Information
We aim to process all orders as efficiently as possible as soon as the order is placed on our website.
The majority of our products are available from stock at our NW London Distribution Centre. We endeavour to ensure that stock is available for immediate dispatch and aim to ship items within 24 hours of the order being placed.
Please allow an additional 24 hours for custom sized orders. This is for bed slats that need to be cut down to your requirements. We will always do our best to ship orders as quickly as possible.
If you need an urgent delivery, please call or email us and we will do our very best to meet your request.
If on the exceptional occasion, we are out of stock on a particular product we will notify you by phone or email and advise of an expected date for delivery. If you cannot wait for this then we will offer a full refund for your order.
All our delivery prices are based on deliveries to a Mainland UK address. Please note there will be a surcharge of £10.00 for deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands and Isle of Man(option will be available upon checkout).
The above only applies to orders that are shipped by Courier (larger Items). All our components and bed slat holders are shipped by Royal Mail Standard post and will NOT incur any surcharges.
On the rare occasion that your order fails to arrive on the advised day, we will not be able to refund the cost of delivery, as the courier will still charge us for the delivery even if its late, but successfully delivered. We are unable to compensate for late deliveries; however, our customer services team are more than willing to contact the courier to ensure your order is delivered at the earliest opportunity.
Collection from Warehouse in Harrow
All our stock is held and shipped from our Harrow warehouse. If you wish collect your order personally and avoid the delivery charge, then this can be arranged. This option will be available upon checkout.
Damages
We will ensure that your order is packed to a high standard to ensure the products arrive safely and in perfect condition. However, on rare occasions orders may get damaged in transit.
Please make a note of this when signing for your delivery. We have Insurance in place with the couriers and can make a claim for damages caused in transit.
Please notify us by phone or email within 48 Hours of the delivery taking place in order for us to make a claim with the courier. Outside this timeframe, we regret that we are unable to assist with replacements etc. We strongly recommend that you inspect your delivery the moment it arrives so that we may assist in the unlikely event of a problem
